I need this book! And I need it ASAP! Me, my hubby and our little baby are moving to our own place by mid-March. My green kitchen is ready and waiting for me. After a lot of begging, hubby agreed to buy a gas range. At first, he only wanted us to buy the regular two burner stove top since sadly, the wifey, that's me, cant cook. I grew up in house where we were constantly reminded that playing with fire is bad and to get away from the boiling pot. I never got burnt but I also never learnt how to cook. Not even rice! Lately, I have been buying cookbooks of easy to prepare meals ( I bought one of the yummy books). I think I know already theoretically how to make a coffee rubbed steak. Just need hands on practice. Pls pls choose me! I want to surprise hubby with a gourmet breakfast in bed so I can make him agree to buy the super cute cupcake tower set that I saw in Gourdo's the other day. :P

Eversince I can remember, my cooking has always been the butt of jokes in my family. They have come up with many a witty wisecracks about my cooking. Although this often leaves me amused, I always dream of someday wowing them with my great culinary expertise. It would be nice to have a cookbook like this that can serve as an ace up my sleeves. I want to surprise them with yummy dishes that I can learn from your cookbook. I'm sure it would give them so much delight and hopefully it will put a stop on my notorious reputation of being a hopeless cook in the kitchen.;)

I would love to have this book. My hubby just got home from the Middle East, we moved into a new home and I started working on my kitchen. I grabbed copies of Yummy magazine and experimented with the recipes. I cook by instinct and this book would be of big help to me. More power!

Hehehe, seriously speaking, I know I need this book because sometimes it isn't enough to just follow the recipe. Many times, the chefs/cooks have certain secrets/tips that make a difference in their dishes.

I would really love to win this cookbook. I deserve it because in my family my mom despaired of me ever getting married without learning how to cook. I did in fact get married but did not have any cookbooks at all. All I did was use the Internet to look at cooking web sites to find recipes. This has sufficed for some time but now I really feel the need to own an honest to goodness cookbook. If I win this, it will be my first cook book every. I would use it to cook meals for my hubby and son. It will expand my repertoire and one day I will host a family gathering to impress all my relatives with my cooking. :)

I may not afford a cooking lesson. I may not receive a cookbook from a friend. But I certainly wish that Cookbook Lessons 2 by Beth Romualdez will be the first cookbook in my shelf. My family will look forward to weekends when I start cooking cuisines from Italy, Vietnam, Thailand, and oter countries, right in our very own kitchen. Weekends will never be the same again after I get my copy (*wink*).

I would love to win this cookbook for my wife. She regularly prepares our family menu, and what better way to spice it up than with International cuisines that are delicious and very nutritous as well! Who knows I might even surprise her with an Italian-inspired dinner for two by making a Bacalla alla Napoletana.

I enjoy eating a good meal with my family, but how I wish I knew how to cook or how to bake! Culinary life has never been a part of me. I want to ditch the words, "I don't cook." A Cooking Lesson book is defintely what I need! Maybe this book can ignite the fire and erase my fears. Perhaps Ms. Beth Romualdez would serve to be my inspiration to try cooking. I would love to see my family's happiness as I serve them my first home-cooked meal straight from this cookbook. I know it's never too late to start learning, and I look forward to that day where I can proudly say that "I am a kitchen-mommy!"

eversince i'm in elementary, my p*ssion is cooking and baking. i even collect recipes from magazines to recipes found in can of foods. now that i'm a mother and a wife my p*ssion grew more coz now i spend more time in the kitchen. i must own the "cooking lessons 2" by beth romualdez coz this will be a big help to broaden my knowledge in my p*ssion for cooking. since i have my own family now and practically speaking having only one person earning income is not enough, i decided to help my husband by earning income tru my p*ssion. so this cookbook will be a big help for me to start helping my family financially.

If I could, I would cook everyday. But because I work the night shift, I seldom cook on weekdays but always make it a point to cook for family on weekends. This cookbook would be such a big help to me and my 3-year-old son who has a really good palate (loves gorgonzola cheese and veggies!).

I used to work and travel for a multinational company and would regularly eat with my family in restaurants so we can introduce them to different cuisines. Since I stopped working, I busied myself cooking healthy foods for family. I would love to have a copy of this recipe so we can still appreciate savoring different cuisine at a much lower cost since I will be doing it myself.

I love to eat, cook and try out new dishes but my problem is I'm not that creative and am still afraid of tweaking some recipes. This is where winning this cookbook will come in very handy. I'd rather follow the recipes found in a cookbook than experiment with a recipe on my own.

I've been a cook ever since I can remember. Starting at an early age, cooking for the family had been delegated to me. Being married for 10 years now, I cook for my family and in-laws as well. I am a cooking instructor and have a home-based cake and pastries business. The kitchen, marketplace, supermarket, restaurant are places I am most comfortable in. Let's just say... cooking is a part of me. :) However, all these actual experiences in the kitchen are not enough. I think I should own this book because I know I can still learn a lot more based on Beth Romualdez' expertise. Her generosity in sharing her recipes will not be wasted just by merely collecting her book but putting it to good use in an actual kitchen.

Who knew that feeding a small family of four is strenuous? Each has different tastes and it takes a lot of effort in food preparation. Cooking at least 3-4 dishes per meal makes me run out of ideas. Winning this book will take a bit of that toll off my shoulders.

I am a bride to be. Since my fiance and I got together 4 years ago I always find something good to cook for him. He is very "maselan" when it comes to food. He doesn't like fancy foods but when I cook for him he's very enthusiastic to taste it. But sometimes eventhough I don't get the right blend I know he tells me it's good. For me to be motivated to cook for him more (he's sweet!). Well I think this book will help me to learn to cook good food not only for my fiance but to my family and friends especially now that we are getting married and starting a new life together. I want him to be proud of me! ^_^

Looking out of my window here in England I can see the snowman I made yesterday looking just as fed up as me. With a copy of this wonderful book, my whole family can be fed up in the best way possible with delicious, exotic food from around the world (well, if we can't have the sun, we can at least pretend we have for the duration of a mealtime!)

Working in Saudi Arabia (a cloistered life)awakened my hunger to learn preparing good food.I went back home, got married to a voracious appetite, had a baby who is a very happy eater, discovered YUMMY & grew hungrier.I am going back to the kingdom hoping to share to fellow Pinoys, syrians, egyptians, arabians, indians...all "hungries" I meet, a whole new world of flavors and tastes. With what? this book tucked and tied around my hungry belly :-)

I sleep and wake up with food on my mind. Not because I am obsessed with it but because my family deserves to be served quality home-cooked meals that, though limited in choices, are prepared with each of the family members in mind. A complement and a smile in between, I know that will come by at the dining table when I serve a dish or two from this new cookbook. And that is one good reason to wake up in the morning.

I really really have a p*ssion in cooking. If I have extra cash I always make sure that I can buy even just a food magazine like Yummy because I want to introduce to my family different kinds of food and not just the usual foods that are served in a family table. It always feels good when my family is really happy after eating the food that I prepared. I want to own this book because I want to continuously see them happy with the food that I prepared. That even if it's not familiar with them, they would still want to eat it because I prepared it for them. With the help of this book I can see coming years that is full of happiness in our family that is bonded not only by our love for each other but of course our love for food!

Obviously, I'm the only guy as of the moment who wants this awesome cookbook from Ms.Beth Romualdez, who in my opinion, consider as our country's version of Julia Child. Being a Julie and Julia fan, I would also love to cook new and adventurous gastronomic dishes (sans the blog.lol) with everyone in my household and this book will definitely help me elevate my culinary status of just eating to actually cooking up a storm in the kitchen. :)

I would like to own a copy of this book because i love cooking. I enjoy experimenting with foods. What I usually say to people who do know how to cook but wants to learn is always start in low fire, small amount of salt and they can put anything in the pot and I would tell them "hindi naman yan kikibo" season it with sat and pepper and they should always taste the food they are cooking. I hope this would help those people who wants to learn but do not have the courage or who simple are afraid because they might go wrong.

I do collect cookbooks when I'm abroad or there is a sale at National Bookstore. The only problem is that when my children friend borrowed them they never came back and they don't even remember who they lend the book. So most of the time I browse recipe at the internet. Since most food are starting to go fusion the genuine recipe of our ancestry started to disappear and I'm still glad I still have some of those copies left

Beth Romualdez and I have something in common, we're both adventurous in the kitchen. Having to own her book filled with her ideas and masterpieces, would help me expand my knowledge on different cuisines and drives me to be more experimental in the kitchen. :)

I would love to have this book. I want to learn how to cook, although I know some simple recipes. But, setting aside of wanting this book for my own, I will more likely to have this book as a present to my nanay's birthday this April. She loves to cook and wanting to learn more recipes. This is the best gift that I will give her. I know she will love and treasure it. Thank you and more power.

As an avid supporter of Pink Kitchen, I was already introduced to the wonderful culinary world of Ms. Beth Romualdez, and as such, it would be an unbelievably tremendous experience for a budding chef like me to be able to learn some of her techniques and get to prepare some of her lovely recipes. Please help me realize this simple dream. This cookbook will be among my treasures. Many Thanks and more power!

I got really excited with this cookbook! My favorite part is where ingredients that are hard to find locally have substitutes provided here in this cookbook, for the very reason that I love buying cookbooks, only to get disappointed that I can't seem to find the needed ingredients here. I would love to own a cookbook like this because I would like to experience different cuisines of the world without leaving the comforts of my own kitchen. Cooking is an art - it's like traveling and experiencing new things and being adventurous - all those resulting in a harmony of flavors that satisfy the palate.

I never really tried to cook anything my entire life UNTIL I had a baby. When she turned 6mos and was advised to eat solids, I searched the internet for food that was apt for her age. This stage was easy since it was basically boil and mash. Now that she's about a year and half, she eats everything and anything, and I've cooked what my mom taught me a number of times already. I'd love to be able to cook a lot of different things for her. I'm proud to say she loves to eat ampalaya so I think, I'll enjoy seeing her eat new food and different textures now. Another good thing is that hubby now wants to bring "baon" to work instead of eating out and that's another kitchen 911. I hope to win!! Good luck everyone!
