This shop is a gem for aspiring chefs and bakers.

This cozy baking and cooking equipment shop tucked away in the concourse level of Power Plant Mall recently had a face lift (the shop looks sharper now!), but remains a gem for aspiring chefs and bakers.

                                                                                          Cooks Exchange is at SM Megamall and Power Plant Mall.

Here you can find a wide collection of tools essential for baking and cake decorating. The shop is well stocked with basic ingredients like chocolate blocks, candy sprinkles, royal icing and gum paste mixes, cocoa powder, nuts, and the like.

Cooking tools are aplenty too.
Our recent visit found us sorting through crepe pans, salad spinners, spice grinders, condiment bottles, and a great selection of serving platters, baking pans, and cookie cutters. Even miniature graters (that can be used for grating garlic and cheeses or zesting lemons), citrus presses, wine corks, and other cute and colorful finds can be found here.

Our favorite thing about Cooks Exchange?
A visit often yields an aha moment. Apart from finding that tool you were looking for, you’ll likely find something you didn’t think you needed but makes prep work much easier. Case in point: the nut chopper. Goodbye, knife-and-chopping-board nut chopping!
