Taxi Adventures

Every week she chronicles her dining adventures with taxi drivers and is always pleasantly suprised by the results . They made the sandwich anyway...
A month ago, rumors came out that KFC was testing a new sandwich creation. The mythical sandwich was called the Skinwich—five layers of KFC Original Recipe chicken skin in a bun topped with American cheese and bacon. Fans were disappointed when KFC dispelled the rumor. But some folks got too excited and created the sandwich anyway. Perfectly doable at home. Would you dare?

Good Eats Oldies
When it comes to cooking shows, Alton Brown's Good Eats ranks high in the list of favorites of many cooking show aficionados. The Peabody Award winning show is part Julia Child and Bill Nye the Science Guy where the science and techniques of cooking are explored. Too bad there aren't any DVDs of old episodes available here. But you can find show transcripts online in the Good Eats fanpage. The site interface is very web 1.0 and tedious to navigate but the handy search function does the job when looking for favorite episodes.
