Beat the Heat with Fruit-Infused Waters You Can Make and Drink

Homemade, healthy, and refreshing!

Ditch soda and sugar-laden drinks this summer and swap them with fruit-infused water. Beautiful? Yes. A fad which screams 2014? Maybe. But these refreshing drinks have good-for-you qualities and makes drinking water more fun.

Lemon Water

The easiest and most popular infused drink, lemon water helps you get your daily dose of Vitamin C in a refreshing sipper. Just drop a few lemon slices in your pitcher or carafe, let it sit for awhile, and chill.

Lemon Water with Cucumber and Orange Slices

Mix orange and cucumber slices into lemon water and you get more detox power in your infused drink: cucumber helps flush out toxins while the orange and lemon slices give you a Vitamin C boost. They also lend sweet citrus tones! Add a few mint leaves for a nice, refreshing flavor.

Detox Water:  Apple Cider Vinegar + Honey + Grapefruit

The grapefruit juice and apple cider combo may be popular for fad diet fans but a drink infused with these two simply mean you're getting nutrients that you need for a healthy diet. Add honey to sweeten the deal.
