Blueberry-Tofu Smoothie



Blueberry-Tofu Smoothie

Add a fruity flavor to your first meal of the day by pairing it with this yummy-healthy cool treat.


Makes 2 glasses

 

1/2 cup Japanese tofu
1/4 cup soy milk
1/2 cup blueberries
3 tablespoons honey
1/2 cup ice cubes

 

1   In a blender, combine  Japanese tofu, soy milk, and blueberries and blend for about 10 seconds.

Add another blueberries, honey, and ice cubes. Blend until smooth.

Health tip: Tofu is low in calories, fat, sodium, and carbohydrates. Made from soya milk, it has no cholesterol and is a good source of protein, calcium, and other nutrients.

    I would have never thought of using tofu for a smoothie. I'll try this one of these days.
