When there are these few ingredients in a recipe, the quality of each really shines through. So try to get the best you can afford.
Serves 4 Prep Time 10 minutes Cooking Time 5 to 8 minutes, if toasting brie on bread
1 half-baguette loaf, sliced in half
2 ripe salad tomatoes (Whopper), sliced into 1/4-inch-thick rounds
half a package of Brie (from a pack of 125 grams)
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 Season the tomatoes on both sides with a sprinkling of salt and pepper. Then slice the brie into 1/4-inch-thick slices.
2 Assemble the sandwich: Place the tomatoes on the baguette’s bottom half. Pile the brie on top of that before pressing down with the top half of the baguette. Slice the sandwich into 4 equal pieces. Serve with a tall, cold glass of lemonade.
