Chili con Carne Pizza



Chili con Carne Pizza

Frozen pizza crusts are a great help when you don’t have time to make your own dough.

 

1/4 cup olive oil
4 cloves of garlic, chopped
half an onion, chopped
1/4 kilo ground beef
1 small can baked beans
3/4 cup crushed tomatoes
1/4 cup tomato paste
5 teaspoons cumin
1 tablespoon chili powder (add more if desired)
2 teaspoons oregano
salt and pepper to taste
2 frozen pizza crusts

 

1  Sauté garlic and onions in olive oil until golden. Add in ground beef and cook until meat changes color.

  Add beans, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and spices. Let boil until thick and season to taste.

  Spread chili con carne over pizza crusts and top with grated mozzarella cheese.

  Bake in a preheated oven for 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese melts. Top with chopped tomatoes, canned corn kernels, chopped lettuce, and sour cream. Serve immediately.
