Make something different by combining cheese and clams for a sandwich spread.
Yield 1 cups Prep Time 15 minutes
1 cup low-fat mayonnaise
1/2 cup light cream cheese
1 bottle clams, finely chopped (substitute option: crabs)
1/2 tablespoon Italian parsley,finely chopped
4 stalks spring onions, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Mix all ingredients; adjust seasoning to taste. Refrigerate and age for 2 hours before serving with crackers or toasts.
