You may use other chocolates for this recipe, but Hershey’s milk chocolate is a classic. For your first time, do it the right way!
Makes 12 Prep Time 1 minute Total Cooking Time 15 minutes
24 graham cracker squares
24 large white marshmallows
3 Hershey’s milk chocolate bars
long bamboo skewers or fondue tongs
1 Place 2 segments each of Hershey's milk chocolate on 12 graham cracker squares. Set aside the remaining 12 crackers.
2 Place 2 large marshmallows on a skewer and roast gently over hot coals or a low fire. Roast until golden brown all over, then remove from the heat.
3 Assemble the S'mores: Place the 2 roasted marshmallows on top of the chocolates and graham square, then cover them with another graham square. Press the 2 crackers together to hold the marshmallows in place while pulling out the skewer. The hot marshmallows will be squished and will also melt the chocolate, creating a little piece of dessert heaven. Eat immediately and repeat the process until all the ingredients are consumed.
