Coconut Macaroons with Langka



Coconut Macaroons with Langka

Because this dessert-snack is so easy to make (and so popular!), you can double or triple the recipe whenever you’re in need of food gifts for friends and family.


Makes 25 to 30 pieces  Prep and Cooking Time 25 minutes

 

1 200-gram package dessicated coconut
1 300 ml can condensed milk
1/4 cup cake flour
1/4 cup langka, shredded
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

1  Preheat oven to 350ºF.

2  In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.

3  Line small muffin pans with baking paper and spoon mixture into each cup until three-fourths full.

4  Top each maracoon with a piece of langka strip if desired. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until muffin tops appear light brown in color.
