This easy mix-and-layer tiramisu recipe is the perfect ending to a heavy meal. Make sure to only dip (do not soak) the broas pieces into the espresso mixture or else you’ll end up with a crushed biscuit.
Serves 4 Prep Time 20 minutes
1 cup mascarpone cheese
1 cup whipped cream
20 pieces Chocnut, crumbled
1 1/2 cups grated sweetened chocolate
4 cups freshly brewed espresso brandy, Galiano liquor, or Marsala
wine (optional)
16 pieces broas
1 In a bowl, fold in mascarpone cheese to whipped cream. Set aside.
2 In another bowl, combine Chocnut pieces and chocolate together.
3 Mix espresso and liquor (if using) in a shallow dish.
4 Dip both sides of the broas in the espresso mixture then line the bottom of a glass dish with it.
5 Spread 1/3 of the mascarpone mixture on top then sprinkle with 1/3 of the Chocnut-chocolate mixture.
6 Repeat the layers two more times, ending with the Chocnut-chocolate mixture.
7 Chill for at least an hour before serving. Transfer to bowls or glasses if desired.
