The perfect way to start the day—fruits in season marinated in thyme syrup is cool and refreshing.
Serves 3 Prep Time 15 minutes plus chilling time
2 cups water
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 sprigs fresh thyme
1 apple, peeled and cubed
1 mango, peeled and cubed
100 grams watermelon, peeled and cubed
1 orange, peeled and cut into wedges
12 pieces grapes, halved
100 grams pineapples, cubed
1 In a casserole, bring water and sugar to a boil. Once boiling, add the fresh thyme and boil for 3 minutes. Place the casserole on an ice bath to cool down.
2 In a large mixing bowl, toss together all the fruits. Pour in thyme syrup and toss with the fruits. Serve chilled.
