We’re betting that after just a taste of this, you’ll be whipping up batches all summer long.

Makes 6 glasses

1 lemongrass stalk
5 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
5 thin slices of ginger
mashed lemongrass
5 bags of green tea
2 lemons

1  Rinse 1 lemongrass stalk, slice into one-inch lengths, and mash.

2
In a pan, bring to a boil 5 cups water, 1/2 cup sugar, 5 thin slices of ginger, and the mashed lemongrass.

3
Turn off heat and place 5 bags of green tea; steep for about 5 minutes. Let cool. Pour through a fine strainer into a pitcher. Chill.

4
Add the juice of 2 lemons before serving. Pour into ice-filled glasses and garnish with lemongrass stalk.
