The pairing of a cheesy cream-based sauce and the lemon’s delicious tang makes one heavenly pasta delight!
Serves 5 Prep Time 10 minutes Cooking Time 10 to 15 minutes
250 grams fettucine, cooked according to package directions
250 grams frozen, peeled shrimps
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 cup milk
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup broth
1/4 cup dill, chopped
zest of 1 lemon
lemon wedges, for squeezing
1 In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and cream cheese. Add garlic powder; mix well. Pour milk gradually. Stir and simmer for 3 minutes.
2 Mix in Parmesan and season with salt and pepper.
3 Add shrimps. Stir gently for 2 minutes or until cooked.
4 Pour broth, chopped dill, and lemon zest. Mix well.
5 Toss or pour over cooked pasta.
