Smoked Bangus Lumpia



Smoked Bangus Lumpia

Simple can be made spectacular, and this one’s the ultimate example. We share with you another way to enjoy this unassuming Pinoy fare—roll ‘em up! Best served with vinegar-garlic dip.

Serves 5 to 6 Prep Time 15 minutes Cooking Time 5 minutes

 

lumpia wrappers, about 10 to 12 pieces
1 large smoked boneless bangus
1 egg
1 small onion, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped spring onions
1/4 cup chopped carrots
1/8 cup chopped green bell pepper

 

1  Shred and flake fish meat; discard skin.

Transfer to a bowl. Add egg, onion, spring onions, carrots, and bell pepper. Mix well.

  Place about 1 1/2 tablespoons mixture to each lumpia wrapper; roll and seal. Repeat until done.

  Deep fry in hot oil until golden. Serve with desired dipping sauce.
