Tacos wouldn't be complete without the sauce. So, here's a recipe that will surely add some spice in your ordinary taco dish.
Makes 1 cup sauce Prep Time 10 minutes
Cooking Time 10 to 15 minutes
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium white onion, minced
1 teaspoon cumin
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 cup water
1 250-gram pack tomato sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1 In a medium pot over medium-low heat, sauté onion and garlic with the cumin, chili powder, and cayenne pepper in oil until the onion is translucent. Add tomato sauce and water; bring to a simmer.
2 Let simmer for 6 to 8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
