Turmeric Deviled Eggs



Turmeric Deviled Eggs

Turmeric is no devil as it does a lot more than just color a dish and lend it a strong ginger-like flavor. It serves as a safe anti-inflammatory agent to ailments and lessens the risk of cancer.

Serves 4 Prep Time 10 minutes

 

4 eggs
3 tablespoons light mayonnaise
1 to 2 teaspoons turmeric
2 teaspoons minced spring onions or garlic chives
salt and pepper to taste

 

1  Cook eggs in simmering water until hard cooked.

  Remove shells and cut eggs into halves vertically.

  Remove the yolks and mix them with the rest of the ingredients until smooth.

  Pipe back onto the egg white halves.

  Sprinkle with more turmeric, if desired
