Turmeric is no devil as it does a lot more than just color a dish and lend it a strong ginger-like flavor. It serves as a safe anti-inflammatory agent to ailments and lessens the risk of cancer.
Serves 4 Prep Time 10 minutes
4 eggs
3 tablespoons light mayonnaise
1 to 2 teaspoons turmeric
2 teaspoons minced spring onions or garlic chives
salt and pepper to taste
1 Cook eggs in simmering water until hard cooked.
2 Remove shells and cut eggs into halves vertically.
3 Remove the yolks and mix them with the rest of the ingredients until smooth.
4 Pipe back onto the egg white halves.
5 Sprinkle with more turmeric, if desired
