Apple and walnut make the perfect pair, especially in this oh-so-easy pie.
1/2 cup crushed cookies
(we suggest Chips Delight Coffee and Caramel Cookies)
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 cup vanilla-flavored dessert pudding
1/3 cup all-purpose cream
walnuts, coarsely chopped
canned apple pie topping
1 To make pie crust, mix the cookies with butter. Press onto the bottom of a 6-cup muffin pan. Chill for 15 minutes.
2 To make the filling, mix the dessert pudding with cream.
3 Sprinkle with walnuts on the crust, then pour the pudding mixture over it. Chill.
4 Before serving, top with pie topping.
