Apple Waldorf Salad

Apple Waldorf Salad

The classic Waldorf gets a subtle gourmet twist when the apples are sliced into rings instead of being chopped. If you want to make the salad more substantial, add poached chicken to the mix.

Serves 4 Prep Time 15 minutes

 

1 pack ready-to-eat salad greens
10 pieces grapes, halved
2 tablespoons chopped celery
10 pieces candied walnuts (or any candied nut)

2 pieces Granny Smith or Fuji apples cored and sliced into rings

4 tablespoons mayonnaise

 

Place salad greens on a chilled plate. Arrange grapes, celery, caramelized nuts, and sliced apple rings on top. Serve immediately with mayonnaise on the side.
