Make sure the kiddos eat smart and healthy at school. Here's a fast and tasty snack to pack into their brown bags - and yours too!
Makes about 6 to 8 muffins
1 (200-gram) pack MAYA
Whole Wheat Pancake Mix
2 very ripe lakatan bananas, mashed
3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons softened butter
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder (optional)
1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 In a large bowl, prepare pancake mix according to package directions.
2 Add bananas, honey, and butter; mix until just incorporated. If desired, you can also add cinnamon powder and/or nuts to the batter. Pour into muffin cups.
3 Bake using a toaster oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden and the tops spring back when touched lightly.
