Banh Xeo (Vietnamese Pancake) Recipe

This is Vietnamese version of Japanese okonomiyaki and France's crepe.

This is Vietnam’s version of Japan’s okonomiyaki and France’s crepe. When whipping up this dish, make sure you use a nonstick pan. This Vietnamese pancake recipe is also perfect for taking a piece of banh xeo, rolling it in a lettuce leaf with some basil and mint leaves, and then dipping it in nuoc cham, the popular Vietnamese dipping sauce.
