Serves
8 to 10

1 packet taco seasoning
(we used McCormick Taco Seasoning Mix
      or use Homemade Taco Seasoning)

1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup onions, chopped
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
500 grams ground round
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
3 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
lumpia wrappers

1  Dissolve taco seasoning in water; set aside.

Heat oil in a skillet. Sauté onions until translucent then add garlic. Add ground round and cook beef until browned. Drain excess oil. Pour in dissolved taco seasoning and cook until sauce is absorbed by the meat. Let cool.

In a bowl, mix the cooked beef, mozzarella cheese, and cilantro. Place meat mixture on a small lumpia wrapper. Roll and seal sides. Repeat to make a total of 40 pieces. Deep-fry flautas until golden. Serve with salsa and sour cream.
