With just five ingredients, you get a fuss-free pasta salad that’s perfect for a light lunch. Serve this too as a refreshing accompaniment for rich, heavy dishes. Give this dish a twist by adding cubed feta cheese and herbs of choice.  (Click to find more pasta salad recipes)

1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
400 grams beef pastrami,
       cut into strips
       (about 1 1/2 cups)
250 grams red seedless grapes,
         sliced into halves (about 1 1/2 cups)
400 grams bow-tie pasta,
      cooked according to package directions
 salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste  

 

In a bowl, toss the olive oil, red wine vinegar, pastrami, grapes, and pasta.

Season to taste with salt and pepper. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve warm or at room temperature.
