Freeze for 1 to 2 hours.4  Dip cake ball bottoms in melted chocolate. Insert lollipop sticks halfway through. (The chocolate holds the lollipop sticks firmly in place.) Stick pops into the styrofoam board. Let chocolate cool and harden.5  Dip cake pops into melted chocolate of your choice, covering completely. Let excess drip back into the bowl.6  To decorate, sprinkle with desired décor such as candy sprinkles or nuts. Once the chocolate becomes firm and dry, you can also drizzle the cake pops with melted chocolate in a contrasting color.7  Stick into the styrofoam board and place in the chiller until ready to serve. To give as gifts, wrap in clear plastic and tie with ribbon. Substitution tip: You can also use banana cake, chocolate cake, or even leftover pancakes for this recipe! Store-bought cream cheese frosting can also be used.
