With just a few ingredients, you can have a soup that's hearty, healthy, and light—a perfect match for a heavy sandwich like the Asian Pork Belly Bun.

ServesPrep Time 7 minutes  Cooking Time 12 minutes

1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small yellow onion, minced
1/2 head cabbage, chopped to bite-sized pieces
4 cups chicken stock
1 block firm tofu, sliced into 1x1-inch cubes
salt and pepper, to taste

1  In a pot, heat butter and oil. Add onion and sauté until soft and translucent.

Add cabbage and sauté until soft and wilted.

Pour in chicken stock. Taste and adjust seasoning.

Gently add tofu and simmer for a minute. Serve.
