Skip the usual fast-food lunch at work. Instead, pack this healthier take on the popular steak sandwich. Don't forget to defrost your chicken!
Serves 3 Prep Time 20 minutes Cooking Time 15 minutes
2 to 3 teaspoons oil
1/3 cup sliced white onions
1/3 cup red and green bell pepper strips
2 chicken breast fillets, sliced into thin 2-inch strips
salt and pepper
3 hotdog buns
3 to 4 tablespoons cheese sauce
1 Heat oil in a nonstick pan. Sauté onions and bell peppers.
2 Add chicken strips. Season with salt and pepper. Sauté until cooked, about 3 to 5 minutes.
3 Toast hotdog buns.
4 Fill with chicken mixture and drizzle with cheese sauce.
