You'll be bowled over by this little cookie's exceptional, one-of-a-kind burst of flavor.
Makes about 45 cookies
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cayenne powder
3/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups malted milk balls, roughly chopped
1 Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2 In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cayenne powder.
3 In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
4 Stir in milk and vanilla extract; gradually blend into the flour mixture. Do not overmix. Stir in malted milk balls.
5 Drop mixture into 1-inch balls onto a lined baking sheet and press 1 malt ball on the center of each.
6 Bake for 12 to 14 minutes, until edges brown. Cool for 2 to 3 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
