Here's an easy, no-bake sweet treat that will surely render hugs and kisses from your loved one.
Makes 18 Prep Time 15 minutes, with 2 hours chilling time
500 grams dark chocolate, broken into small pieces
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups cereal (we used The Muesli-Granola Kitchen and Bakeshops No Nut-Sense Muesli)
1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
sprinkles for decorating (optional)
1 Place chocolate pieces in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in microwave for 1 minute or until melted, making sure to stir at 20-second intervals. Reserve some for drizzling.
2 Stir in peanut butter and mix until well blended. Add the cereal, walnuts, and marshmallows. Line a 9" x 13" pan with foil, allowing the excess to hang over the edges. Lightly grease the foil, then press the mixture into the pan.
3 Drizzle melted chocolate over the top and smoothen using a spatula. Add the sprinkles over the chocolate.
4 Chill for 2 hours or until firm.
5 Once set, use the foil overhang to lift the chocolate batter out of the pan and onto a flat surface. With a 3-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out hearts. Store in an airtight container with wax paper between layers.
