These crispy cinnamon wedges make for a great snack, baon, or dessert.
Serves 2† Prep Time 10 minutes† Cooking Time 10 to 12 minutes
2 pieces pita bread
3 tablespoons melted butter
For the cinnamon sugar
3 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 Cut pita bread in half, then cut the folded edge to separate the pita to get a total of 8 half circles. Cut each half circle into quarters.
2 Spread in one layer on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 350ºF for about 10 to 12 minutes, tossing once, or until pita is brown and crisp. Let cool.
3 In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Brush both sides of pita wedges with melted butter and toss wedges in cinnamon sugar. Store in an airtight container.
