Easy to make and healthy to boot, this pasta dish will certainly score high with your kids.
Serves 2 Prep Time 5 minutes Cooking Time 5 minutes
500 grams spaghetti (regular or whole wheat), cooked
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 kilo lean ground beef or ground chicken
4 cups tomato sauce
1 cup whole kernel corn, drained
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon basil
grated cheese
1 Cook pasta according to package directions. Set aside.
2 In a pan, saute garlic, onions, and ground meat in olive oil until cooked.
3 Remove excess oil and pour tomato sauce. Add the whole kernel corn.
4 Toss sauteed ground beef with cooked spaghetti, then season with salt, pepper, and herbs. Top with grated cheese before serving.
