Matcha Frappe

Matcha Frappe

Add a fresh flavor to your usual cool-down indulgence.

Makes 2

 

1/2 cup milk
1/2 tablespoon matcha powder
3 large scoops vanilla ice cream
1 cup crushed ice
sugar
whipped cream

 

1  Using an electric blender, mix milk and matcha powder for about 15 seconds.

2  Add vanilla ice cream and crushed ice; process until smooth and creamy.

3  Sweeten with sugar and top with whipped cream, if desired.

Shopping tip: Matcha powder is available at Japanese specialtyshops like Konbini, located at Connecticut Street Greenhills, San Juan.
