Oh-So-Tender Chops

Oh-So-Tender Chops

This brine is good for two kilos of pork chops. This is the perfect match for your homemade Cajun Rice.

16 cups water
1/2 cup rock salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup cracked peppercorn
2 laurel leaves

1  Let brine boil and cool. Put chops in the solution and keep overnight or 24 hours in the fridge.

2  Drain pork chops. Marinate for 3 hours in 4 cloves garlic, herbs of choice, liquid seasoning, and oil.

3  Fry or grill as desired.
