Quick Chocolate Mousse

Quick Chocolate Mousse

Save room for dessert—even when you’re working at warp speed! This easy-peasy sweet treat is ready when you are.

Serves 4

 

1 cup Nestlé All-Purpose Cream
1 cup dark chocolate chips or buttons
1/2 to 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup Nestlé All-Purpose Cream, chilled
2 teaspoons sugar
extra whipped cream, to top

 

In a saucepan, place cream. Add chocolate chips or buttons and simmer gently, stirring continuously, until chocolate is melted. Add vanilla extract; mix gently. Chill mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

When ready to serve, whip chilled cream with sugar until fluffy. Gently fold whipped cream with chilled chocolate mixture. Divide evenly among 4 small serving glasses or ramekins. Pipe additional whipped cream on top, if desired.
