Shrimp Bisque

Shrimp Bisque

When it's raining cats and dogs, cozy up with a bowl of this light and comforting soup.

Serves 2 to 3

 

1 cup frozen cooked tiny shrimps (thawed and drained)
1/3 cup of sliced celery
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup cream cheese
1 cup milk
3/4 cup tomato sauce
pepper to taste

 

1  Sauté celery in butter on medium heat until tender. Reduce heat to low.

2  Stir in cream cheese and milk; cook and stir until cheese is melted.

3  Pour tomato sauce and add shrimp; season with pepper.

4  Cook until mixture is heated through, stirring occasionally. Blend.

5  Garnish with parsely and serve warm.
