Shrimp Long Rice

Shrimp Long Rice

No need to go out and head to Polu Kai Grill when you can recreate this at home in less than 30 minutes!

Serves 1 Prep Time 15 minutes Cooking Time 12 minutes

 

150 grams hofan noodles
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons julienned onions
1/4 cup julienned red bell peppers
1/4 cup julienned green bell peppers
1/4 cup julienned carrots
8 pieces shrimps
1/2 cup shrimp broth or water
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup julienned bok choy

 

1  Soak noodles until they turn white.

In a saute pan, heat oil and saute garlic, onions, red bell peppers, green bell peppers, carrots, and shrimps. Add the soaked noodles and shrimp broth or water. Season with oyster sauce, soy sauce, and salt and pepper to taste. Add bok choy and serve immediately.
