Here's an idea—pour in some fresh milk or coconut milk to make a creamy, icy delight.
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 saba bananas,
peeled and sliced into rounds
1/2 cup large sago (tapioca balls),
cooked according to package instructions
1/2 cup red gulaman (gelatin), cubed
2 cups crushed ice
1/4 cup cornflakes
1 Boil together sugar and water.
2 Add bananas. Continue to boil until the bananas become soft, then transfer to a bowl.
3 Add gulaman and sago to the bananas.
4 Top with crushed ice then drizzle with banana syrup. Garnish with cornflakes.
