On a hot day, nothing beats sweet nibbles on ice!
3/4 cup sugar1 cup water2 saba bananas, peeled and sliced into rounds1/2 cup large sago (tapioca balls), cooked according to package instructions1/2 cup red gulaman (gelatin), cubed2 cups crushed ice1/4 cup cornflakes
1 Boil together sugar and water.2 Add bananas. Continue to boil until the bananas become soft, then transfer to a bowl.3 Add gulaman and sago to the bananas.4 Top with crushed ice then drizzle with banana syrup. Garnish with cornflakes.
