These rolls are wrapped in lumpia wrapper and deep-fried to crispy perfection.
Makes 12 rolls Prep Time 10 minutes Cooking Time 10 minutes
1/2 kilo ground beef
1 (165-gram) can pork and beans
3 tablespoons taco seasoning
2 cups shredded lettuce
2 tablespoons chopped onions
1/2 cup bottled tomato salsa

1/3 cup Cheddar cheese, coarsely grated
12 lumpia wrappers
1 Saute ground beef and taco seasoning; cook until brown. Add pork and beans. If the pan gets too dry, add 1/2 cup of water as needed. Simmer, stirring occasionally.
2 To assemble: Place about 2 tablespoons ground beef mix , shredded lettuce, onions, and grated cheese to each lumpia wrapper; roll and seal. Repeat until done.
3 Fry the rolls until golden brown.
4 Serve with tomato salsa.
