Here, basic tuna is jazzed up by adding fruits to an otherwise regular tuna sandwich.
Serves 1 Prep Time 3 minutes
For the tuna filling
1/2 cup tuna chunks in water, drained
2 tablespoons balsamic dressing
salt and pepper to taste
For the Tuna with Teriyaki Sauce
1/2 cup tuna chunks in water, drained
2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
1 Make the tuna filling: Mix all ingredients. Serve with grapes.
2 Make the Tuna with Teriyaki Sauce: Mix all ingredients. Serve with orange segments. Placed on sliced baguette, crackers or even to top salads
Healthy tip: When looking for bread to use for baon, treat yourself to good-quality whole-grain bread. You can keep them wrapped tightly in the freezer—all it takes is a minute in the oven to make them taste like they’re fresh out of the oven. For these two recipes, try whole wheat, rye, and pumpernickel.
