We like our pizzas cheesy, mess-free, and quick! Our speedy solution? Foregoing humongous slices and turning them into these easy, tiny bites.
Makes one sandwich
2 baguette slices
olive oil for brushing
pizza sauce
slices of mozzarella and fontal cheeses
pepperoni slices on top
pepper, to season
1 to 2 basil leaves
1 Brush baguette slices with olive oil. Spread one baguette slice with pizza sauce then top with slices of mozzarella and fontal cheeses. Place pepperoni slices on top; season with pepper.
2 Grill using a panini maker or stovetop until crisp and golden. Place basil leaf/leaves on top of the pepperoni and top with another baguette slice before serving. Repeat procedure to produce desired yield.
