Two-Faced Potato Chip Cookies



Two-Faced Potato Chip Cookies

Potato chips plus chocolate - combined to make cookies - equals a winning treat.

Makes 2 to 3 dozen  Prep Time 20 minutes  Baking Time 10 to 12 minutes

 

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 cups crushed potato chips
3/4 cup melted chocolate for dipping

 

1  Preheat oven to 350ºF.

2  Sift together flour and baking soda; set aside.

In another bowl, cream butter and sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla until well incorporated.

Mix in flour until just incorporated; do not overmix.

5  Fold in chocolate chips and crushed potato chips.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown in color.

Cool and dip half of each cookie into the melted chocolate. Cool in the chiller for 5 to 10 minutes or until chocolate has set.
