Enjoy your salad greens with the crunch and sweetness of candied walnuts. How do you make them?
Preheat oven at 375F. In a bowl, combine 1 cup walnuts, 2 tablespoons corn syrup, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1/2 tablespoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, and a pinch of ground black pepper.
Using a spoon, toss them until the walnuts are evenly coated with the mixture.
Put sweetened and seasoned walnuts on sheet tray lined with a nonstick baking sheet.
Bake in the oven for 5 minutes or until nuts are golden brown.
