Hold the fruit firmly.
Cut in half vertically. This should be a cinch when the fruit is ripe.
Carefully loosen the meat of the fruit with a large spoon, continuously running it along the cavity until all the meat is released. Slice to desired size, plate, and serve.
Enjoy it! This fruit is quite subtle yet sweet, which makes it a great addition to salads that call for vinaigrette dressings.
