Using just a little bit of pork, you infuse this delicious string bean adobo with the mellow, delicious flavor of pork. We especially love the tomatoes added in that gives a nuanced sweet and sourness to your typical adobo flavors.


Tip on finding the perfect sitaw: When buying string beans, look for a vibrant green color. There should be no holes, discoloration, or any signs of rot. When you press the string bean, it should not be hard. A hardened string bean means it's going to be tough even after cooking. As with most fresh greens, as the plant matures, its skin or stems harden.
