Cinnamon Apple and Almond Breakfast Oats

Breakfast is absolutely the most important meal of the day! But if you often only have a couple of minutes before heading out, you probably often skip breakfast.

Try this delicious breakfast oat recipe that only takes 10 to 15 minutes to make!

 

Serves: 4

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes

 

1 1/2 cups apple juice

1/2 cup water

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, plus a bit more to sprinkle

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup Healthy You Rolled Oats, rinsed well

1/4 cup golden raisins

1 to 1/2 cup almond milk, warmed (or fresh milk, according to preference)

1 green apple, diced

1/2 cup toasted almonds, sliced

 

1 Combine appple juice, water, sugar, cinnamon and salt in a small saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil.

2 Lower heat and add rolled oats. Cover and cook for 5 minutes until Healthy You Rolled Oats absorb the liquid and becomes fluffy.

3 Add raisins and stir.

4 Divide rolled oats-raisin mixture among individual bowls.

5 Pour almond milk then top woth appled and almonds.

6 Sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve warm.
