3 Ways To Cook A Flavorful Fish Fillet Recipe

Fish fillets are one of the easiest ingredients to work with in the kitchen. It's versatile enough that you can cook it a number of ways: Season it with a variety of spices or use just salt and pepper, and it will still be a flavorful dish. One of the best characteristics of fish fillets is that it cooks fast so you can have a meal on the table in minutes, a great time saver when you are in a rush. Â
Ask to have your favorite type of fish filleted by the fish monger or grab the pre-filleted frozen versions at your supermarket. Whichever you choose, you can cook a flavorful fish fillet meal quickly, ready to serve in under 15 minutes. Here are three ways how you can do just that:
1 Bake it.
For easy, baked fish, sauté onions, garlic, and tomatoes. Add breadcrumbs. Pat mixture on seasoned fish fillets; spread Japanese mayonnaise on top. Bake in an oven preheated to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 10 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
2 Roll and stuff it.
Place seasoned fish fillets on top of foil. Spread cream cheese and sprinkle with fresh basil and oregano leaves on top. Roll fillets and wrap with foil. Bake in an oven preheated to 350 degrees F (10 degrees C) for 10 minutes or until cooked through.
Â3 Poach it.
Bring a shallow pan of water with carrots, onions, peppercorns, and dried shiitake mushrooms to a boil. Once boiling, lower heat and add fish fillets. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
After it's cooked, serve any of these fish fillet dishes with steamed rice for a satisfying meal.
