Creamy Pancake and Waffle Recipe

Pancakes with Bacon

 

3/4 cup milk

2 tablespoons white vinegar

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

pinch of salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons Arla Butter Unsalted, melted and cooled, plus extra for greasing pan

1 large egg

1/4 cup bacon, cooked

pancake syrup, to serve

 

1 Mix together milk and vinegar in a small bowl. Let sit, for 10 minutes.

2 Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Set aside.

3 Whisk together milk mixture, vanilla extract, melted butter, and egg in another bowl.

4 Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Add bacon; mix until well combined. Do not over mix.

5 Heat a frying pan over medium heat; add butter.

6 Pour 1/4 cup batter into the pan and cook until bubbles form, about 2 to 3 minutes. Flip pancake and cook until golden. Transfer to a plate. Repeat with remaining batter.

Serve with bacon bits, Arla Butter Unsalted, and pancake syrup.

 

Waffles and Fruits

 

2 cups flour

2 tablespoons sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 3/4 cups milk

1/3 cup vegetable oil

2 eggs

1 cup mixed fruits (bananas, strawberries and kiwi)

2 tbsps Arla unsalted butter, melted and cooled

 

1 Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.

2 Whisk the milk, butter, vegetable oil, and eggs together well.

3 Gradually pour the milk mixture into the dry mixture. Stir until almost blended. There will be a few lumps.

4 Pour the batter into your waffle maker (about 1/3 cup)and cook according to instructions or approximately 4-6 minutes on medium high or until the waffle maker stops steaming.

5 Sprinkle fresh fruits on top with Arla Butter and cheese.
