Who would have thought you could cook chicken curry so many ways?

The typical Filipino chicken curry recipe has a bit of history in it.

The chicken curry we know was introduced to us by the Indians. With the limited amount of spices and herbs that should be in the authentic version, the Pinoy version of the curry was the best the foreign Indians could make with the ingredients they had access to. The result was different but no less tasty and flavorful. We also had an abundance of turmeric which makes our curry that vibrant yellow hue. 

We know how easy it is to grab a packet from the market and use it to make your chicken curry dish at home. That’s why when it comes to chicken curry, all we really need to prepare are the chicken and vegetables.

For anyone who wants the easiest, most classic tasting chicken curry, this recipe is the one you want to try. The biggest deviation from the traditional recipe will be the kind of curry you use. There are many different packets you can use but you can also make your own spice mix to create a one-of-a-kind chicken curry recipe, too. You can even use chicken fillets to make it easier and faster to cook the chicken.

2 Chicken Curry Stir Fry Recipe 

Who said that curry had to be super saucy? Instead, this stir-fried recipe is the opposite. However, don’t be fooled! The flavors of the classic chicken curry are still there but it’s no longer the sauce version you’re familiar with. Instead, you use the curry spicy mix to flavor the chicken and the veggies. The coconut cream or gata marries it all together so you will experience some creaminess that you might be missing in the dish.
