Making (and planning) dinner doesn't need to be a chore! These ground meat recipes can come together in less time than the usual. That's because the beef is already cooked, and that's half the recipe done already.

All you have to do when you've got some time on your hands is cook a big batch of ground beef then store in portions until needed. Then, it's just a matter of choosing one of these recipes to use with your already cooked beef.

1 Shepherd's Pie Recipe

There's nothing easier than putting ingredients together into a pot and then leaving it to cook on its own. That's the same principle here. Once you have your cooked ground meat, put the rest of the ingredients together, including leftover mashed potatoes or a bunch of veggies you can thinly slice if you got it, and this dish is made in minutes rather than hours. You don't even have to bake it. Just reheat everything, and it's good to go.

Here's a quick take on the English favorite!

2 Spicy Minced Pork And Eggplant Hotpot Recipe

Cooked beef can replace other ground meat ingredients in recipes, so this simple yet oh-so-flavorful pork dish instantly becomes a beef dish with the easy swap. Not only will this make a fantastic dinner, but it's also even better the next day when the flavors have developed even further and the eggplant chunks have absorbed all the flavors.

3 Mapo Tofu Recipe

Another ground pork dish that you can easily substitute with ground beef is this soft tofu and ground meat dish. It's another flavor-packed meal that is just as easy as dumping in the ingredients into the wok and cooking it until just heated through. You don't even have to worry about the tofu disintegrating while stirring. (Hint: It's supposed to!) With the ground beef already cooked, this dish just got faster to make.

4 Bolognese Recipe

It's said that the best Bolognese sauce has been simmered for hours on the stovetop. This develops flavors that the tomatoes, ground beef, and other seasonings won't have unless it goes through this process. Since the beef is already cooked, all you really need to do is add a prepared tomato sauce! It's easily a no-cook pasta sauce. Reheat and toss with your favorite cooked pasta, and dinner is served.

6 Gising-Gising Recipe

Also known as ground meat and green beans in spicy coconut milk, this spicy regional recipe is easy, tasty, spicy, and best of all, fast to cook. A little simmering will enhance the flavors of the meat, render the coconut, and jack up the heat in the siling labuyo that's stirred into the dish.

7 Pancit Palabok Recipe

This umami-packed noodle dish can be made in less time than usual if your ground meat is already cooked! That's one big step taken care of even before you start cooking. Make it simpler with less toppings if you're in a really big hurry to get it on the table. When you do have all the toppings ready, it's just a matter of making sure that the rest of the ingredients are ready, too, so that all you have to do is dump it all in to make the delicious sauce to toss into the noodles before topping.

You can always make time to make a delicious dinner if you are able to plan out your meals. Do this time-saving tip, and you're just a few ingredients away from a flavorful and hearty dinner that you can say you made from scratch without much fuss.
