WATCH: How To Cook Butter Garlic Prawns

If you love garlic, butter, and prawns, this dish is for you! It's one of the tastiest, most decadent, and succulent seafood dishes you can whip up. 

 

Butter Garlic Prawns

 

Takes 20 minutes

Makes 4 servings

 

1/4 cup salted butter

2 tablespoons canola oil

1 head garlic, peeled, finely chopped

8 tiger prawns (sugpo), deveined, trimmed with scissors

Salt and ground black pepper, to taste

Parsley leaves, chopped, to garnish

Lemon, cut into wedges, to serve

 

1 In a large sauté pan over medium-low heat, melt butter and add oil. Add garlic and gently cook until golden brown.

 

2 Increase heat to medium-high heat. Place prawns in the pan and cook until cooked through, flipping halfway to cook both sides. Remove from heat.

 

3 To serve, drain garlic-infused butter from pan into a bowl and plate the prawns. Sprinkle prawns with parsley and serve with salt, pepper, and lemon wedges. Serve while hot.
