This reader recipe by Dishkarteng Kutsinero is one of our 2020 top recipes, and there's no question why. Super flavorful, loaded with garlic, and fast cooking, this easy Pinoy beef recipe is a fantastic ulam to serve with lots of garlic fried rice.

The recipe starts off just like a normal beef tapa recipe would: thinly sliced beef is marinated in a simply oil-based mix. It's made up of olive oil, lots of garlic, and some seasoning spices: salt, ground black pepper, and some paprika.

We highly suggest you hold the salt at least until after you add the sauce ingredients: oyster sauce and liquid seasoning. That's because the both of these ingredients are salty and additional salt may not be necessary if you're seasoning the dish to your taste.

Plus, many people love the combination of beef and mushroom, and this recipe is basically a savory beef mushroom dish. If you love mushrooms, you may want to add a whole can of the edible caps instead.
